Every Cairns Taiko performance is tailored to suit the needs of the hosts and the venue. No emcee or mics required... unless of course you would like our emcee to explain and introduce our performance for you.
Professional amateurs
All our players are volunteers, but that doesn't have to mean you deal with amateurs. At Cairns Taiko we take great pride in our professionalism, both on and off the stage and make every effort to ensure we arrive and leave with minimal fuss.
Stage technicians and emcees often tell us how appreciative they are to work with a group who rehearse all parts of the performance, including silently getting on and off the stage within 60 seconds.
Tailoring your event
We have an extensive repertoire, which allows us to choose playing styles and pieces to suit your audience and stage size.
If appropriate, we can incorporate come-and-try sessions within our performance.
We could even run taiko classes in the lead-up to your event allowing your staff to perform something alongside us.
